| More Beautiful Beach Scenes Click on any image for an enlargement The breakers seen here are all that protects the fragile Beach from the eroding forces of the waves and the wind and the thousands of feet trampling grains into the lake. The city occasionally adds new sand to fight the battle to a draw.Although very busy in the summer, with the warm weather lasting from April to mid-November, you can find some quiet time down here during the week or anytime in the mornings. Every true beacher has some degree of fascination with the Leuty Life Station, which has recently been renovated. We have it pictured here and even have a great close-up for die-hard Leuty fans! |
