Yes, we definetely have a very serious problem with our politicians. I also feel completely helpless when it comes to getting their hands out of my pocket. However, there is nothing I can do, personally, to change their crooked ways. If it bothers you so much than do something positive to fix it, rather than stirring and blaming our governement for the lack of child supervision we are facing.
Let me ask you, who has been watching these teens for the first years of their lives? Certainly they have not grown up unsurpervised. Where do the parents go when their kids reach their teens? They just suddenly have to work more, after all those years...or maybe they are underestimating the ability of their kids to get into trouble and are giving them way too much freedom...
All I can do is take care of business in MY HOUSE. Each household needs to do their own part to fix this problem. In your home you have the power to control what goes on....and that means making sure your 15 year old is in bed at 4am, rather than roaming the streets boozing it up and defacing public property. The Liberals are not responsible for bedtimes and curfews....YOU ARE!
