Toronto's most popular FREE music festival is back in the Beaches! This summer, Queen Street East and the entire Beaches community will resonate with the sounds of jazz, blues, and Latin rhythms
The Four-day Festival in 2001 Includes:
a series of free, open-air performances in the Kew Beach Bandshell on July 27 & 28, 2001
StreetFest jazz performances on street corners throughout the Beach on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, July 26 - 28, 2001
New for 2001 3 nightly performances from 7 to 10 PM at the R.C. Harris Water filtration plant (Waterworks) on July 26 - 28
over 40 bands nightly, with over 700 musicians performing over four days.
Saturday July 28th performances include: Tab Benoit, Michael Kaeshammer, Cimarron, Kollage. Sunday July 29th offerings, Big Joe and the Dynaflows, Dave Restivo Quintet, Susan Arioli Swing Band, Joey DeFrancesco, The Barlow Group, Bill King's Saturday Nite Fish Fry).
